Earlier this year, it was reported that the production of the Tesla Cybetruck would not start until the first quarter of 2023, but that does not mean the vehicle has been scrapped.

As specified in an HITC report, Tesla's futuristic Cybertruck is one of the most anticipated vehicles globally. However, many ambitious buyers are panic-stricken on seeing reports that say the electric pickup truck has been canceled.

The same report emphasized that Cybertruck by Tesla has not been canceled. Undeniably, this is reportedly one of the biggest pranks pulled on the occasion of April Fools' Day by CarBuzz.

As stated in the article, Tesla CEO Elon Musk himself announced the cancellation of the Cybertruck, saying, "Very sad to say," they have decided to cancel the said vehicle.

Musk's statement further specified that he knows there will be much disappointment among customers, and all preorders will be refunded accordingly. This decision had been made in the best interest of the company.

A truck accident lawyer from Austin, TX shares: "New vehicles, especially models with advanced features, always concern us about their real-world performance. How will these features hold up in various conditions? Will they contribute to or detract from road safety? As we await the Cybertruck's official release and subsequent performance reviews, it's crucial to remain both optimistic and critical, ensuring that this vehicle not only meets but exceeds the safety standards necessary for our roads."

Awaiting Announcement from Tesla

Tesla, for its part, has not made any official announcement yet. The Cybertruck is among the biggest initiatives of Tesla. Naturally, any report on its production or cancellation would be announced officially.

Nevertheless, the manufacturer has not yet addressed CarBuzz's joke that the production plans for the vehicle are dead. More so, sources close to Tesla said in a Reuters report that the delay in the production is the reason for the changing features and functions of Cybertruck to make an attractive product, in contrast to the development of costs "far exceeding." Until the end of April this year, people will come across a lot of obscure claims as part of the April Fools' Day celebration.

6-Seater Cybertruck

An Electrek report describes the Tesla Cybertruck as sitting six people. It is also equipped with a 6.5-footbed, called the Cybertruck vault. The top part is covered, although it also unrolls if the rider needs to fit in something higher than the roof of the vault.

This same report also describes the vehicle as having a design that's futuristic, probably more so, compared to any concept car that has, in fact, hit the road in recent history.

The company is not likely to change Cybertruck's design drastically before it gets shipped, although, if this is what people had preordered, it is perhaps quite close to the real thing. Popularly, this Tesla vehicle features the Armor Glass, designed for window protection from even the fiercest of heavy objects.

600-Mile Range

In the recent filing of a patent from Tesla for its Cybertruck UI system, all samples photos have exhibited an available range of over 600 miles, hinting at the potentially larger electric vehicle range.

Despite the details reported, Tesla has not made any confirmation, although it is not unreasonable to believe that it may be attainable on the tri-motor option.

Aside from providing seating for six individuals, the Cybertruck also offers additional storage beneath the second-row seats and will feature a 17-inch touchscreen.

As Tesla's Cybertruck makes headlines, it's vital to remember the legal implications of car accidents involving such innovative vehicles. Cesar Ornelas Law, with a strong focus on truck accident cases, is adept at navigating the complexities of accidents involving cutting-edge technology like Teslas. They offer expert legal representation to ensure fair compensation for any injuries or damages incurred in accidents involving advanced vehicles like the Cybertruck.
