Huawei's previous year model P9 Plus is still trending. The company unveiled P10 and P10 Plus flagships last week at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Here are the details of Huawei P9 Plus including specs and features.

Huawei P9 Plus is co-engineered with Leica. It is an advanced version of Huawei P9. It comes with 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED (1920 × 1080) display protected by Corning Gorillas Glass 3 within a metal uni-body. The phone size is 152.3 × 75.3 × 6.98 mm and weight is 5.71 oz.

The phone is powered by octa-core (4 × 2.5 GHz Cortex-A72 + 4 × 1.8 GHz Cortex-A53) HiSilicon Kirin 955 processor and 4 GB RAM. It offers 64 GB internal storage that is expandable up to 256 GB using microSD card as written in Tech Advisor. As far as the cameras are concerned, Huawei P9 Plus offers dual lens 12 MP primary camera and 8 MP secondary camera.

Huawei P9 Plus version VIE-L09 is a single SIM smartphone whereas VIE-L29 is a dual SIM phone. In VIE-L29, SIM 2 works as a memory card slot as well. The phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and EMUI 4.1.

The phone offers various connectivity options that include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, USB OTG, 3G and 4G. Huawei P9 Plus also supports USB Type C. As stated on the Huawei's official site, Sensors on the phone include Fingerprint Sensor, G-Sensor, Gyroscope sensor, Compass, Ambient Light Sensor, Proximity sensor, Hall effect sensor, Barometer sensor, an infrared sensor.

Huawei P9 Plus offers longer battery life with a rapid charge using 3400 mAh non-removable Li-Po battery. The phone comes in Haze Gold, Quartz Grey and Ceramic White colour. The phone is quite expensive compared to its competition.

There is a tough road ahead for Huawei P9 Plus with the competitors like OnePlus 3 and 3T. Especially with the launch of latest flagships P10 and P10 Plus, the phone will find it hard to survive in the market with the price of $450.
