Eve Technology, the company behind the crowdsourced Eve V Windows 10 tablet, has completed development stage and is ready to start production and shipment by next month. The device has been positioned as a competitor of the premium Microsoft Surface 4. The market for detachable slates has become crowded but there is always a room for new ones, especially when it offers the same quality as the premium ones but at a more affordable price much like the Eve V Windows 10 tablet.

The company started to solicit ideas from users for its new Eve V Windows 10 tablet in July 2015, according to Digital Trends. Eve Technology decided that crowdsourcing would provide them more inputs on what users really want from a tablet. Eve Community was created primarily to crowdsource ideas for the next device. The company was not disappointed as they came up with impressive specifications for the Eve V Windows 10 tablet that were surprisingly similar but a lot better than the Surface Pro 4.

A variety of tests such as CrystalDiskMark and Cinebench R15 showed how the Eve V Windows 10 tablet performed on par with the other more expensive devices. Tablet users who are on the lookout for a new device are invited to check out the Eve Community and perhaps add themselves to the more or less 4,000 members. The Eve V Windows 10 tablet comes with an Intel 7th Gen Core M3/i5/i7 CPU with up to 8GB/16GB LPDDR3 of RAM and a 128/256/512GB SSD storage. The 12.3-inch IGZO LCD display with a 2736X1824 resolution, coupled with a gorilla glass touch panel with anti-fingerprint and anti-reflection coating is a real deal sweetener too.

Eve Technology's Eve V Windows 10 tablet is ideal for those who are always on the go as it has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. It is also easy to connect with other devices as it has different ports including a Thunderbolt 3 USB Type-C, 1 x USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C, 2 x USB 3.1 Gen 1 USB-A, 1 x 3.5mm audio and 1 x MicroSDXC reader. The 2MP front and 5MP rear cameras are, however, not too impressive but one can always get a camera for great photos.

Technology consumers can expect another David versus Goliath story considering that the Finnish company behind the Eve V Windows 10 tablet is a startup, according to Business Insider. Eve Technology has recently inked an investment from Intel and that could help its goal of surpassing Nokia and revive Finland's technology industry. Chief Executive Officer Konstantinos Karatsevidis and co-founder Mike started the dream of putting up a technology company a long time ago when they met at a poker table during their last year of studies. The two vowed to produce a well-functional and affordable perfect product and the answer seemed to be the Eve V Windows 10 tablet.
