Lucid Motors' Air is the next big thing though it's a small electric car. It is expected as Tesla's rival because of its outstanding 1,000 horsepower.

The California-based Lucid Motors has big dreams for the future, The Verge reported. Lucid Motors' Air makes promises on the nature of its car and mentioned that it is not for the sake of transportation or reformatting life, but for beautification and zero-emission with style.

Last March, Lucid Motors finally reveal the price for its all-electric "Air" car that was aimed to compete with the BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Tesla. According to Fortune, the Lucid Motors' Air can be purchased at the price of $60,000 including the federal tax incentives. Its original price cost $52,500, while the federal tax incentives cost at about $7,500.

The Lucid Motors' Air was first introduced at the LA Auto Show last year with 1,000 horsepower. The car can be able to take on up to 240 miles on just a single charge and is favored with its extremely luxurious interior design. However, it has no center console, not even a dashboard or a cup holder.

But despite the Lucid Motor's Air exposed wires lying on the floor, it's high-tech three digital displays located behind the steering wheel are very noticeable. The displays show data including the Air's battery power and speed.

Furthermore, the Lucid Motor's Air is narrower, lower and shorter than the Lucid Motors' Model S because its battery pack has been sculpted that enhanced its interior space. Though the Lucid Motors' Air can drive really fast, Lucid Motors admits that it's not the fastest, after all, the company believes that it falls short of its competitors.

But, it's the company's known commitment and honesty to provide details on what they can totally deliver. On the other hand, the company believes that Lucid Motors' Air still has the solid chance to compete with Tesla in the future with its autonomous technology.
