Meizu is reportedly going to launch a new phone on May 23. The phone is rumored as a new model of the M-Series and is dedicated for International fans.

GSMGarena reported that from a very reliable source, Meizu will unveil a new phone on May 23. The device is expected to be a new model of the M-Series phone and is focused on affordability. More so, the device is said to be launched through an online event rather than on a conventional launch.

Meizu's Global Marketing Head, Ard Boudeling said that "... As a result, we were not able to bring devices that meet our quality standard to more people than ever before. Our product launch on May 23rd will definitely stand as a testament to that." There's a great possibility that what Boudeling pertains to is a new M-Series model.

Meanwhile, according to Digital Trends, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer considered the launching of a Meizu new device as one that is very special. It is because the said model is expressly designed for the company's international fans.

To recall, Meizu had been developing phones and devices only for China and Chinese people. But now, the company courageously set a standard to release a specially developed new model of phone for their fans outside the county.

The new model of Meizu phone is expected to be sold online in some parts of Asia, South America, and Europe whenever this would be available except on U.S. for some reasons. However, it is only Meizu who currently knows at the moment what would make its new phone model suitable for their international fans.

"Meizu started 14 years ago and hardware is still at our core," Boudeling said in an interview. He further exclaimed that the market has now gone matured, and yet, Meizu still maintains its attitude to be able to let R&D work free from some budget restrictions. And this year, Meizu is willing to continue demonstrating that they are one among the companies that bring innovation to the smartphone industry.
