As indicated in a Petrol Plaza report, 7-Eleven has opened its first-ever unmanned store located in Seoul, South Korea, "with a special customer engagement system integrated."
With this innovation, an AI-Clerk can greet customers at the location. In the location, the server can also interact with customers to present special offers and promotions.
Clients who are going to the store located in the Lotte Information and Communication building in the capital can be involved in conversations with the AI.

DeepBrain AI is the provider of this highly technical service, a firm that's specializing in the development of AI systems that chat can employ real-time conversations.
According to Eric Jang, the Founder, and CEO of DeepBrain AI, they believe AI humans embedded with video and speech synthesis technology will interrupt a lot of industries which include convenience stores.
A Retail in Asia report said the company official added they are excited to showcase this 7-Eleven commercial solution, which is presently in use, to highlight the ability of artificial intelligence to humanize digital customer service and improve customer experiences.
The system was installed in August 2021 as an AI Kiosk of 7-Eleven, a subsidiary of Lotte Group. The convenience store not just includes the technology of DeepBrain as it is integrated as well with technologies for unmanned stores.
Moreover, aside from answering questions, the AI Clerk has the ability to offer promotional information to customers, too. This comprises general inquiries, newly stocked items, discounts, and data on the company, as well as its technology.
