NASA claims that as it intensifies its search for UFOs, it is thinking of turning satellites into alien-hunting apparatus. According to the plans, NASA would not have to launch additional instruments into orbit to use their satellites to search space for unusual occurrences. It is a component of a more extensive investigation into unidentified aerial phenomena that will begin later this year.

NASA's Plan On Developing Alien-Hunting Tool

Last month, NASA announced its plans to investigate unexplained aerial occurrences, and since then, space scientists have been planning how to make the best use of the technologies they already have in orbit. The project will emphasize figuring out what data is already accessible, how to best gather more data in the future, and how to use that data in relation to unexplained occurrences.

"The team is going to be looking at questions like: Do we have sensors that can sense things? You know, take another look at the evidence," NASA deputy administrator Pam Melroy reportedly stated at a press conference in London, according to The Telegraph.

The team wanted to know if they had a ton of satellites looking down at the Earth. Are any of them useful? Melroy explained that before a researcher builds a rover to Mars, the researcher asks what type of sensor to build to detect the most interesting thing. After answering such a query, the team would focus on that.

Another thing to consider is getting the evidence needed to determine if it's an optical phenomenon or another kind of phenomenon.

According to NASA, there is currently no proof that any previously unexplained occurrences were extraterrestrial. However, resolving this issue is essential but has implications for both air safety and national security.

NASA Headquarters in Washington, Thomas Zurbuchen, assistant administrator for science, stated that NASA believes that the methods of scientific discovery are potent and applicable. He said they have staff and resources to advance their understanding of the unknown. That sums up science in its purest form.

Researchers' Take On Being Ridiculed Because of the Alien Project

NASA administrator, Bill Nelson, claimed to have reviewed every classified material on UFOs and was confident that no one knew what they were.

When asked why NASA was pursuing what seemed to be a fringe topic, Nelson responded that one of the space agency's mandates was to search for extraterrestrial life and noted that even the best scientists had been ridiculed and disbelieved. He said, "Keep in mind that one of our missions is to reach out and discover whether there is life. That's why we're digging on Mars right now." Nelson said that there is a possibility that conditions identical to those on Earth existed and another type of life evolved there.

He also cited Galileo when facing the Flat Earth Society, which believed everything revolved around the Earth. Yet, Galileo said that we revolve around the sun. He added that one hundred years ago, we continued to believe that there was just one galaxy. But then Hubble appeared and abruptly showed that many galaxies exist.
