According to Insider Tech, there are chances that humans will be taller after 1000 years. There is already a boom in our height in the last 130 years.

In 1880, the average American male only stood 5 feet and 7 inches tall. However, today he is 5 feet 10 inches tall.

Additionally, cyborgs may exist among us. The outlet noted that we would likely merge with machines that can enhance our sense of hearing, eyesight, health, and more. There are already hearing aids that let us record sounds and generate white noise.

Also, there are already bionic eyes that help blinds see. The technology will likely help us see different light energies, such as infrared and X-rays. Also, prosthetics may no longer be exclusive to persons with disabilities.

Nanobots, extremely few robots, are predicted to swim about our bodies and increase our natural skills. We may no longer be constrained by biology, a concept known as transhumanism, and the implications of that are rather amazing, per ScienceAlert.

And technology can alter more than simply our bodies fundamentally. The film from AsapSCIENCE makes the point that "utility clouds" of microscopic robots might quickly construct and destroy large buildings. Imagine your home disassembling when you depart in the morning to make room for something else.

According to Insider Tech, our genes are also expected to evolve to support our survival. An Oxford-led study discovered that a group of HIV-infected children in South Africa lives healthy and normal lives because they developed built-in defenses against HIV, preventing the virus from advancing to AIDS.

The number of languages used worldwide is expected to decline significantly over the next 1,000 years, and the increased heat and UV radiation may even turn darker skin into an evolutionary advantage.

Home-Based Workers' Future Appearance

In a previous article for Science Times, Furniture At Work discussed how the appearance of people working from home may alter in 2100. The company unveiled Anna, a model with a hunchback, black, drooping eyes, and claw-like hands.

Anna uses technology frequently, spends a lot of time in front of displays, and has poor posture, which negatively impacts her physical health. She could experience issues with her mental health.

The team behind Anna was motivated to create it because, according to University of Leeds research, a third of UK office workers still need a dedicated workspace at home.

Furniture At Work further stated that it used scientific research and worked with healthcare professionals to reveal how the remote worker of the future will likely perceive the effects of lacking a suitable workspace at home. Because Anna works from bed, she has a hunched back and rounded shoulders, and her eyes have gotten swollen and red from staring at a screen all day. Her fingers also formed into a permanent claw.
