Unlike other mobile companies busy with increasing the size of display or resolution, LG is coming out with a display they hail as "Full Vision". LG's upcoming flagship G6 is billed as a revolution in mobile displays.

According to Engadget, LG G6 is going to sport "Full Vision" display measuring 5.7 inches diagonally. It is essentially a QuadHD+ screen at a resolution of 2880 X 1440. For G6, LG has gone ahead with an unusual 18:9 aspect ratio which makes the screen taller than other smart phones. Due to this extra real estate, there is room to fit two windows simultaneously when the device is held horizontally.

The LG G6 comes with an "Instagram ready Square camera" feature. It also allows the user to review the snaps at the same time while the previous one is being lined up. The calendar app present in G6 is also multi-tasking ready, automatically showing the calendar on the left and the schedule on the right of the screen.

According to Phonearena, Lg G6's "Full Vision" display has a higher pixel density and better resolution than that of the LG V20, V10 and G5. The panel power consumption is 30 percent lesser than that of the G5, which makes the battery last longer. The LG G6 is powered by the multitasking features of Nougat, Android's latest version.

Most media content like games, apps and images will comfortably readjust and perfectly fit in "Full Vision's" unusual screen aspect ratio. Facebook feed and excel sheet both will take advantage of the extra space and show more content. However, it remains to be seen how will the LG G6 handle the YouTube videos, which generally follows a 9:16 aspect ratio.

With "Full Vision's" super-sized screen, unusual aspect ratio and a longer display, LG G6 have already generated enough curiosity and anticipation. It remains to be seen if LG's bold decision proves a game-changer and the competition follows suit.
