Several rumors and leaks about the upcoming handset of Xiaomi, Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, have already surfaced. A website now revealed benchmark results and important features of the handset.
Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi last year unveiled a new handset, Xiaomi Mi MIX with stunning display features. The phone became popular with its almost bezel-less display. This year consumers can avail the successor of the previous handset, Xiaomi Mi MIX 2.
The new version of the previously launched Xiaomi Mi MIX has just appeared on the benchmarking website Geekbench. The name of this new phone appeared as Xiaomi MIX. Interestingly, the benchmark listing reveals that the upcoming smartphone or the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features better and improved CPU. The predecessor of the new handset has 6 GB of RAM and Snapdragon 821 chipset.
But the Geekbench unveils that Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 must be packed with Snapdragon 835 chipset. The smartphone also sports 6 GB of RAM like its predecessor. The original Mi MIX has not yet received the latest Android update, that is, Android 7.1.1 Nougat, Android Treasure reported. On the contrary, the recent report indicates that the upcoming handset gets the Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 scored 6431 points in the multi-core test, and 1929 points in the single-core test. Last quarter of the current year will most probably be the time when the new upcoming smartphone could see the daylight. The original Xiaomi Mi MIX landed alongside the Mi Note 2. So it could be possible that the successor of the previous phone will land with another new device Mi Note 3.
According to The Science Times, Xiaomi Mi Note 3 will have the rear dual camera setup. Mi Note 2 doesn't have this feature. Another important handset Xiaomi Mi 6 also has dual cameras on the back. So consumers can cherish Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 and Mi Note 3 in the last quarter of 2017.
Recent leaks have already hinted that Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 will have the same 6.4-inch display like the Xiaomi Mi MIX. The handset will explore above 90% screen-to-body ratio. The display of the Xiaomi Mi MIX features 2040x1080 pixel resolution.
