After a long gap, Samsung has achieved remarkably an increase in its profit earnings through chip business. The tech giant's Q1 earnings indicate its recover from the previous year's debacle.

According to the Engadget, the Q1 earnings of Samsung in 2017 show the highest quarterly profit since the Q3 2013. Interestingly, the tech company faces a huge problem in 2016 with its Galaxy Note 7. This problem also hampered the last year's earnings, but the recent trend indicates the recovery.

The truth is Samsung has gained the profit from its chip business. Currently, the company is engaged in making processors, camera, and memory. This blooming business has helped the tech giant to collect a handsome $8.75 billion profit.

This is not the end, as the company is looking forward to increasing the earnings with its newly launched smartphone Galaxy S8. It is true that the next quarter's profit will include the sales of the new handsets of Samsung. A few days ago many Korean consumers alleged about excessive reddish tints on the screen of the Galaxy S8 handsets.

Even some images were also posted by the customers in the local tech community sites Ppomppu and the Ruliweb, according to ZD Net. Though, later a Samsung spokesman uttered that the existing red tint is not a big issue and it can be easily avoided. The spokesman said the customers to go through the settings in order to change the configuration that should ultimately solve the problem.

Samsung has introduced a new OLED curved screen for the new Galaxy S8 models. Reports are surfacing that the tech giant is gearing up to launch another flagship smartphone in the next second half. Though any official name of the upcoming handset is not yet available, but presumably, the device must have a large screen.

It is a common thing that like other tech companies, Samsung is also trying to explore something unique to earn a hefty amount of revenue. The new profit report clearly brings a momentum in this initiative. Hopefully, this momentum will exist in the coming days.
