Cupertino firm Apple yesterday, released a couple of new short length videos on YouTube featuring the ease of access to an iPhone. The company introduced a newly designed mini-site "Switch" primarily targeting Android smartphone users to switch to an iPhone. The page mainly includes an FAQ-based information alongside a simple explanation about the migration from Google's smartphone ecosystem to iOs.

Details from MacRumours indicate Apple prior to "Switch" mini-site, had set up a dedicated web page to users migrating from Android to iOs. However, with a lack of proper information about the phone itself, the page mainly included Move, the company's Android-based application. The app 'Move' assisted in users transferring all their data on their existing Android phone to the newly purchased iPhone. Even though it wasn't the company's first application for Android, Move is one of the most negatively reviewed app on the Play store.

The new mini-site "Switch" as the report mentions, has a newly designed simple web layout. The minisite also stresses on Apple's way of handling electronics by mandatorily charging a small recycle fee for most of their products sold to the market. There's also a detailed comparison chart between various iPhone variants sold by Apple. As it can be noted from AppleInsider, the company has uploaded five 16-second YouTube videos mainly showcasing the ease of migration.

Apple's CEO Tim Cook said Apple had witnessed the largest number of switchers outside China likely hinting it will only increase, especially with the launch of their new "Switch" mini site. The company still manages to maintain a respectable position in the industry, making them the most profitable individual smartphone manufacturer. While Apple continues to sell more smartphones, the company also posted a decline in the number of sales in the recent quarter.

Apple will be introducing three new smartphones this year with various changes in the shell design. Rumors suggest the new devices will comply with wireless charging technologies. The new operating system, iOs 11 is also rumored to launch at their annual developer conference in June.
