The upcoming lunar occurrence may be called a "Pink Moon," but it will look orange, reports on the said event.

What's called in a Forbes report as "April full's moon" that is set to rise on April 16, 2022, may be called a "Pink Moon," although people are advised not to expect it to appear in pink color.

Unless there are some weird occurrences in the atmosphere, the view on the fabulous moonrise come Saturday will highlight, if skies are clear, a muted orange orb showing up on the eastern horizon.

Every month, there is a magical 20 minutes that can't be missed. One should be in the right place at the right time to see the natural satellite in space appear on the eastern horizon while dusk falls around.

People can watch the moon draped in orange hues, and as it gently rises into the dark blue sky, it subtly changes to yellow and brightens visibly as it gets higher.

The 'Pink Moon'

Essentially, the Moon will be 100 percent illuminated on Saturday, April 19. Nevertheless, when to see the exact moment of moonrise differs depending on where a viewer is on the planet.

One wouldn't want to know when the Moon is exactly full. It is irrelevant, a Science Focus report specified. People need to know precisely what time the moonrise will occur on the day of the Full Moon, and sometimes, the day before, or the day after, whichever mostly nearly precedes or follows the sunset.

That is how to get to view the moonrise at dusk. It is the only day of the month that one can watch the orangey orb that glows in its environment rather than at night.

One can check the exact times of moonrise where he is, although a sample of when best to view the Pink Moon from three global cities is available: One is in London at 7:47 pm BST; another one in New York City at 7:44 EDT; and in Los Angeles at 7:44 pm, PDT, all on April 16.

April's Full Moon

It is the cherry blossom, as indicated in a similar Technoises report. In fact, the April Full Moon is called the "Pink Moon" because it appears in the spring of wild ground phlox, although, since Full Moons are rather inexplicably associated with names used by numerous Native American tribes, it is all quite North America-centric.

Essentially, April's Full Moon is known as the Sprouting Grass Moon, the Fish Moon, and the Hare Moon. In the United Kingdom, April's Full Moon is called the Egg Moon.

Pink Moon Associated with Religious Events

More religious festivals than thought are associated with the Moon. The exact dates of Easter and Passover every year are among these festivities.

Passover starts on the evening before the first Full Moon following the equinox on March 20, 2022, whereas Easter takes place on the first Sunday after the first Full Moon following the equinox.
