Locals were able to spot a camo Tesla Cybertruck rolling around the Bay Area south of San Francisco. The sighting suggests that the electric vehicle could be hitting the market soon.

Camo Tesla Cybertruck Test Drive

The Tesla Cybertruck was sporting a gray and white camouflage look as it was seen roaming in California. The Cybertruck reportedly made a stop at a popular burger joint in the area, MailOnline reports.

The famous Elon Musk, co-founder of Tesla, mentioned on Twitter that the excursion of the Cybertruck was a tradition.

Mules, or test vehicles, require testing in real-world conditions before they get released. However, they may garner the attention of bystanders, fans, and paparazzi even before their prime-time release.

Previously, Elon Musk announced that owners of the futuristic Cybetruck may opt to have it coated in any pattern or color. While the costs of such features are yet to be revealed, reports suggest that they may cost thousands of dollars.

The National News adds that anticipation over the Cybetruck's release has been growing. Elon Musk has posited that the Tesla Cybertruck will be released to the market later this year, in 2023. He explained that the demand for the electric vehicle has gotten strong but that it would require time for the radical product's manufacturing line to get going.

MailOnline reports that Tesla has communicated with its part suppliers for the Cybertruck, dubbed Project Everest. Tesla has told them to be ready for 375,000 Cybertrucks to be produced each year.

The release of the long-awaited Cybertruck has been anticipated for a long time. It was first unveiled by Elon Musk in November 2019. Since then, it has been the subject of several news headlines.

Incoming Tesla Models

Aside from the Roadster, bystanders, fans, and enthusiasts are also expecting the rollout of the 2023 Tesla Roadster. Business Insider reports that the Roadster was first unveiled in 2017, but its 2023 version is set to be a blast.

Digital Trends adds that the 2023 Tesla Roadster will have a speed of 250 mph and a zero-to-60 time of 1.9 seconds. It will also be able to travel 620 miles on a single charge.

In 2024, Tesla is also set to start production of the 2024 Tesla Model Y, under Project Juniper. This unit will be a fresher version of the previously released Model Y. It is expected to pull off a new look and an improved interior.

Reuters adds that the Model Y's revamp shows that Tesla could be offering newer versions of its best-selling EVs in the next two years. The company did not comment when Reuters asked about Model Y plans.
