The modern landscape of healthcare is evolving at a more rapid rate than ever before. Thanks to technological breakthroughs and innovative tools using AI, thought leaders in the space have proven capable of making substantial changes in unprecedented ways.

One such leader is Niveditha Mogali, an award-winning expert in artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data science, and analytics. Through her work, Niveditha has leveraged cutting-edge AI and machine learning to drive innovation in healthcare and personalize customer experiences.

Modern Achievements

As Director of Enterprise Omnichannel Analytics Capabilities at GSK, Niveditha develops analytics solutions that optimize omnichannel engagement and accelerate business decision-making. She spearheads next-generation Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning (AI/ML) models and analytics frameworks here.

Niveditha's primary goal is to ensure that technological breakthroughs have real-world effects on people. In her estimation, an innovative tool is designed to translate into meaningful impact for customers and patients, and if it doesn't, then it isn't a success.

AI Optimization

Niveditha has enhanced business decision-making by developing analytics frameworks and experimentation capabilities that significantly improve the speed and accuracy of insights.

Furthermore, she optimized omnichannel campaigns by creating a system that enables different therapeutic areas to measure marketing execution and refine engagement strategies, ultimately leading to better customer interactions.

Personal Motivation

Much of Niveditha's passion for using analytics to bridge healthcare gaps and empower the healthcare ecosystem to deliver better patient outcomes stems from her losses. Her grandmother died of kidney failure, which was explicitly linked to the administration of excessive pain medication. This has led Niveditha to believe that patient education, empowerment, and HCP engagement are critical so patients can advocate for themselves while saving lives and preventing needless deaths.

She says, "AI and data can transform lives—for example, through predictive analytics so we can enable timely insights to ensure positive treatment outcomes."

Furthermore, Niveditha would lose both her grandfather and her father-in-law on the same day to COVID-19 due to a lack of treatment options. These tragedies cemented her commitment to healthcare transformation.

Career Achievements

Niveditha is recognized as a thought leader throughout the industry. She has spoken at prominent conferences like the Pharma CX Marketing Summit and Reuters Pharma USA.

She has also received several accolades, including the Innovation Performance Trust Award in 2018 and 2019, the Silver Global Employee Recognition Award from GSK in November 2017, and the MEDSEEKer Achieving Greatness Award in August 2014.

Beyond her professional role, Niveditha is also an advocate for mentorship, education, and the empowerment of future leaders in the life sciences.

To this end, Niveditha co-founded the Spark Initiative at Infosys. This program positively influenced the aspirations of over 6,000 rural students during her tenure.

Furthermore, Niveditha herself mentors young professionals through the GSK mentorship program and actively participates in leadership initiatives for women in the industry. Her volunteer work with the Chester County Innovate Program further highlights her commitment to community-driven innovation.

Recently, Niveditha was nominated for the Greater Philadelphia Social Innovation Awards and was awarded runner-up. This remarkable accomplishment demonstrates her unique ability to bring forward-thinking solutions to complex societal challenges.

A Brighter Future

Niveditha Mogali aspires to continue driving AI-driven healthcare advancements and mentoring women in STEM. As a thought leader in the space, she has made a massive impact on the industry and, thus far, has dramatically improved the quality and education surrounding healthcare for countless patients.
