ASUS was reported to unveil its first Ryzen 7 processor-powered laptop known as the Asus ROG Strix G702ZC last Computex 2017 in Taipei. Aside from the ROG Strix, several gaming laptops powered by Ryzen and Intel processors were also revealed by the Taiwan-based company.

According to Tech Radar, the Asus ROG Strix G702ZC is a 17.3-inch laptop that offers options for either a 4K at 60Hz or a Full HD at a 120Hz screen. The gaming laptop is also said to only weigh in under 7lb and is 33mm thick. However, the laptop is identified to have beast specs inside.

Speaking of inside specs, the Asus ROG Strix G702ZC is said to be powered by an octa-core Ryzen 7 1700 processor paired with the latest AMD Radeon RX 580. The AMD Radeon RX 580 was also said to be the latest deemed Radeon graphics champion. The monster gaming laptop is also said to feature 8GB of video RAM alongside 32GB of DDR4-2400 system memory.

Furthermore, the Asus ROG Strix G702ZC will be back upped by AMD’s FreeSync tech in order to provide a no lag experience for gamers. USB Type-A ports, single USB-C port as well as an SD card reader was also identified to be found on the laptop. An M.2 slot compatible with NVMe SSDs up to 512GB was also featured.

Aside from the Asus ROG Strix G702ZC, Digital Trends reported that the other ASUS gaming laptops consist of ASUS ROG Zephyrus GX501, ASUS ROG Strix GL702VI, ASUS ROG Strix Scar Edition and Hero Edition. The ASUS ROG Zephyrus GX501 is defined to be jet packed with Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 1080 and Intel’s Core i7-7700HQ processor.

The second ASUS gaming laptops were ASUS ROG Strix Scar Edition and Hero Edition which will feature Seventh-generation Intel Core i7 processors paired with Nvidia GeForce GTX 10 Series graphics. The last was mentioned to be the ASUS ROG Strix GL702VI is said to be powered by GeForce GTX 1080 and either an Intel Core I5 or Core I7 Processor. However, prices of the Asus ROG Strix G702ZC and other laptops weren’t released but was said to be unveiled “later this summer.”
