A mother will do anything to keep her children safe, no matter what.
The same goes with dogs, as a golden retriever in Pennsylvania helped track her missing 8-month-old puppy, who was found stuck beneath a boulder in Lake Winola, Wyoming County. The puppy, named Brandy had been missing for about 20 hours, with owner Nadia Delicati searching the woods for her.
Delicate said that people in her community would also search, pray and share her post about Brandy.

Mother's Instinct and Strong Sense of Smell That Rescued Pup
But the amazing breakthrough came when Brandy's mom, Bailey, followed her pup's scent to where she was trapped. Delicati then called 911. Emergency responders immediately rushed to the scene and upon reaching the area, they said they had no idea how challenging it was to retrieve the puppy.
The dog, they said, was in a cave with her head stuck in a hole. They could not immediately dig Brandy out as she was so tightly wedged in the hole underneath the boulder that she could not emit noise. It would seem that Brandy had chased another animal going into that location, rescuers said.
Brandy seemed to have taken a significant amount of time stuck in the area, and was surely hungry and felt cold, they added in a Fox40 interview.
Rescuers Finally Save Puppy
Firefighters at the scene first chipped away at the rock using chisels and sledgehammers so they could free the puppy, but would then dig so that the hole would be large enough for rescuers to crawl in. Eventually, rescuers placed and forced a pry bar between the two rocks that constrained the puppy's head, providing the needed space for her head to pop out.
Delicati and, of course, Brandy were ecstatic with their reunion sharing kisses. The dog would then turn to her rescuers with more kisses, apparently thanking them for saving her. Seeing the dog safe and happy made the rescuers delighted the responders.
Checking on Brandy, the team saw that besides being cold and hungry, the pup merely suffered from a swollen paw, according to a RochesterFirst.com report.
Touched by the support the community extended, Delicati would further thank the first responders for saving Brandy's life.
