The mythical gigantic creatures come by many names in different countries or regions. For instance, they are known as Bigfoot or Sasquatch in North America. On the other hand, they are known as yeti or abominable snowmen in the Himalayan foothills, while Russians call them Almasty.

No matter what they are called, no one has provided enough evidence yet to prove their existence. But a woman from Mendocino County in Northern California claims that she caught on camera a real-life Bigfoot while sneaking into her and her husband's ranch in a place believed to be a sasquatch hotspot.

Woman Claims She Caught in Camera a Real-life Bigfoot Sneaking In Her Ranch; Do They Really Exist?

Fury Creature Caught Sneaking Out in a Ranch

The woman shared photos of what she thinks could be Bigfoot snapped by a camera in her ranch in the subreddit r/Bigfoot. She claims that a sasquatch made its way onto their property, where previous sightings were also reported.

One of the photos shows an image of what appears to be a large footprint in the snow she found while she and her husband were out hunting. Daily Star reported that the couple was up in Northern California for their last hunt of the year and found some footprints measured to be about 15 inches. She added that it was in a dense forest, on a private ranch where nobody else was there but them.

She later posted an update for the keen followers on the thread with more information and, this time, with some pictures from her trail camera. The camera was stationed up high and was "completely missing." The photos showed two of a gray and furry creature right up in the camera lens.

She reiterated that they found the footprints within an area of locked gates, a private ranch with no public access so that nobody could have wandered in accidentally.

But others think she is nuts and later on debunked her claims on the photos of the gray furry animal. Many believe the creature was a squirrel, given its gray fur. One user said the squirrel could have jumped in front of the camera, especially because the second picture shows a tail.

The area was reported to be a sasquatch hotspot in which 59 years ago, a group of children playing in the woods allegedly encountered Bigfoot, which was said to be about 8 feet tall and hairy. More so, the group Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization founded in 1995 said they had collected evidence of dozens of sightings of sasquatch in Mendocino County.

Scientists Analyzed DNA Samples Believed to Belong to Bigfoot

Researchers of the first peer-reviewed genetic survey of 50 biological samples claimed to be from Bigfoot said that their scientific laboratory analysis showed these elusive, hairy, humanoid creatures are nothing more than bears, horses, and dogs.

Per an article in Science, the supposed samples for Bigfoot and its ilk were given by observers who spotted ape-like creatures darting through the woods or those who found large footprints in the mud. Those who believe in the existence of the creatures have different ideas about what it truly is, which often revolves around a prehistoric humanoid.

But Todd Disotell, an anthropologist from New York University, said that very few reputable scientists are willing to confirm records of Bigfoot or yeti. The study reduced the contamination of the samples and followed standard protocols to identify where they came from.

They discussed in full the findings of their study, titled "Genetic Analysis of Hair Samples Attributed to Yeti, Bigfoot and Other Anomalous Primates," in the Proceedings of the Royal Society B.
