VOLTHIUM has just unveiled a new product unique in North America: the very first 12V 400AH battery.

The Canadian company VOLTHIUM specializes in the design of Lithium batteries, and assembles its high-performance batteries here in Montreal, to last more than 15 years, and in a demanding climate and environment like in Canada.

LAUNCH OF A NEW LITHIUM BATTERY

VOLTHIUM, which has been developing energy redundancy solutions for more than 11 years, has just added to its product catalog the first 12V 400AH battery, CSA UL1973 listed. For comparison, a lithium VOLTHIUM battery of this new capacity, weighing only 100 pounds in usable energy, is equivalent to 8 conventional (acid) batteries weighing a total of 520 pounds. A breakthrough advance in the lithium battery industry!

Compared to traditional battery technology, lithium batteries charge faster, last longer and have greater energy density, resulting in lighter batteries and longer range.

VOLTHIUM programs the electronics here, and sources each of the materials independently, in order to have end-to-end control over the final product.

RELIABLE HIGH PERFORMANCE BATTERIES FOR ANY PURPOSE

The VOLTHIUM 12V 400AH battery allows you to power a multitude of tools in emergency situations, where electricity is of crucial importance: this is why the company operates in many sectors of activity: electric boats manufacturers, such as VISIONMARINE, recreational vehicles makers, such as SAFARICONDO, or even orders of the government such as the Canadian Armed Forces.

2 years ago, VOLTHIUM was selected to supply batteries to the firm NERGICA, whose mission was to carry out a research project on renewable energies.

VOLTHIUM AND HYDRO-QUEBEC

Today Hydro-Québec, Canada's largest electricity supplier, has just signed a five-year supply contract with VOLTHIUM for the supply of 48V LiFePO4 batteries. These modular batteries are designed for residential and commercial energy storage. Hydro-Québec will use it to ensure energy redundancy at its remote sites, a world first and a proud achievement for VOLTHIUM.

The department of Installation and Management of Telecommunications Infrastructure noticed the company and made the first contact. Today, all Hydro-Québec departments are authorized to work with VOLTHIUM products: as a matter of fact, Hydro-Québec has licensed VOLTHIUM products, thus making them available and authorized by all levels of the company.

NEW MARKETS

Today VOLTHIUM continues to expand its catalog of unparalleled creations and collaborates more and more with solar installers based in California, where sunshine is at its full potential.

VOLTHIUM takes the lead in the lithium battery industry, allowing unparalleled energy autonomy, while manufacturing them locally.
