Margot Robbie's anticipated film "Barbie" has just hit the cinemas. The doll has been viewed as having the perfect figure for a woman, but it turned out that such a body wouldn't be healthy and pleasant based on a photo-realistic rendering of the beloved character.

Barbie Has Unhealthy Figure in Real Life

A frightening photo-realistic representation of what Barbie might appear to be as a real woman has been produced by experts.

It appears that life would not be enjoyable for a real lady with a doll's body since she would have to move on all fours and have a neck that was too lengthy to elevate her head.

To better comprehend how different Barbie is from the average woman, Rehabs.com experts developed the model, Daily Mail reported.

They claimed that their photo-realistic depiction reveals the absurd physical proportions of the doll that so many people hold up as the pinnacle of perfection and illustrates how odd a life-sized Barbie would appear.

Barbie's neck would only be nine inches long, according to the team's estimation of her head's size at roughly 22 inches. The neck of a typical lady is approximately 12 to 13 inches long.

Unfortunately, because of her size, Barbie would have difficulty holding her head up. They added that Barbie couldn't lift her head since her neck was twice as long and six inches thinner than the ordinary female's.

The real-life Barbie would also have severe problems with her baby-like 16-inch waist, which is smaller than her head. According to Rehabs.com, Barbie only has enough space for a few inches of intestine and a portion of a liver.

Additionally, the doll is renowned for her long legs, half as long as her arms, and only 16 inches in circumference. Comparatively, a woman's legs are just 20% longer than her arms.

Walking would be incredibly challenging for her because of this, plus the size of her ankles and feet. They claimed that Barbie would need to walk on all fours because of her 6-inch ankles, child-size 3 feet, and top-heavy weight distribution.

Finally, it appears that any heavy lifting would be out of the question for real-life Barbie because her 3.5-inch wrists would be "completely incapable."

Barbiecore: Body Positivity and Diversity

A new study found that Barbie negatively impacts young girls' mental health and well-being as it shapes their prejudice. The study used four Barbie dolls with diverse body types - thin, curvy, tall, and petite.

The participants were girls aged between 6 to 8 years old. They were asked to rate the dolls based on their physical appearance, intelligence, and likability, and the majority preferred the thinnest doll, HealthNews reported. They also had negative perceptions toward the curvy Barbie, citing that they wouldn't want to play with her due to her size.

These findings emphasize the value of encouraging diversity and body acceptance in young people because weight bias can have adverse effects like despair, anxiety, and low confidence.
