Scorpion Computer Cockpit: The Latest Gaming Chair

The new gaming chair in town is the Cluvens IW-SK zero-gravity esports gaming chair and workstation or the Scorpion Computer Cockpit. According to the website of Cluvens, this robotic scorpion's tail can support an ultra-wide 49-inch monitor or the three curved 27-inched monitors.

In addition, it also comes with HDMI/DP cables to connect them. The whole gaming chair weighs about 265 pounds and measures around 65 inches long, 47 inches wide, and 82 inches tall when it is fully extended. That means anyone who wants to purchase it should have a spacious room to store it and so that it could also move with ease.

Although chairs like these are usually for gaming, people can still use this for work purposes if they want to as it is built for both purposes.

The robotic scorpion is powered by a button that transforms the whole gaming chair as it is a motorized cockpit. It is also equipped with a heating and massage feature that is enjoyed while having some quality time or while making oneself look like a villain.

The press release published on Cluvens' website said that the Scorpion Computer Cockpit is the company's new model for the year 2020 inspired by the shape of a scorpion.

It also has a zero-gravity feature that positions the chair at a slight tilt or about 170 degrees. Its legs do not have any technical functions, but as part of the scorpion look, it is designed to look like the scorpion's legs.

The robotic scorpion also includes storage on both sides, along with claws that supports the setup for a keyboard. Cluvens and Alibaba are currently taking pre-orders for the Scorpion Computer Cockpit, but both said that the gaming chair is estimated to shop in three to six weeks and estimated time of installation of two hours by two people.

How Much is This Gaming Chair?

On the website of Cluvens, the robotic scorpion gaming chair is sold at $3,299. But someone from CNET was able to spot the cockpit in Alibaba at a lower price.

According to reports, the Scorpion Computer Cockpit, which includes the chair and a desk along with the tail that can mount up to three monitors, cost only $1,299, a far cry from its price on the website of Cluvens.
